A Sunhouse Babysitter comes in two shapes. A casual Babysitter covers evenings, appointments, events, and work coverage. Casual bookings are often same-day or last-minute, scheduled when you need them.
A regular Babysitter is pre-scheduled weekly or monthly with your favourite sitter, a few hours at a time, on a rhythm that fits your family.
A Nanny is the right call when the schedule is full days, full weeks, or ongoing routines like school runs, meals, naps, and developmental activities. See Nanny placements for that.

The on-call team is built one sitter at a time, all interviewed, reference-checked, CPR-certified, and already trusted by other Sunhouse families. When you submit a booking, the Sunhouse system finds the right match from that trusted team based on location, your children's ages, and each sitter's experience.

When the booking is confirmed, you see the sitter's profile, photo, and background. You can request the same sitter again for future bookings.
