Make a request through our easy-to-use online system, and you'll be matched with a caregiver carefully selected to suit your family's needs. Once matched, you'll receive a detailed Babysitter profile showcasing their personality, experience, and skills. You can request the same sitter again for future bookings.
The booking form gives us the details that matter: timing, child ages, neighbourhood, pet notes, bedtime routines, food needs, screen-time boundaries, and whether the booking is at home, a hotel, an Airbnb, or an event venue. Pricing, memberships, and how it works
Babysitter hourly rates are paid directly to your sitter. Families who are not on a membership pay a $35 +GST agency booking fee per booking. Monthly babysitting memberships replace that booking fee for the monthly booking allotment.

Can I book same-day babysitting in Vancouver?
Yes, when a screened sitter is available. Submit the request online with your timing, neighbourhood, child ages, and any special notes. Members receive priority support, and earlier requests are easier to fill.
Can we request the same Babysitter again?
Yes. Families can request favourite sitters for future bookings. We cannot guarantee every caregiver for every date, but same-sitter consistency is a priority whenever schedules line up.
Are Sunhouse Babysitters screened?
Yes. Every Sunhouse Babysitter completes interviews, reference checks, third-party criminal record screening, vulnerable sector check screening where required for the role, and CPR or First Aid verification before joining the roster.
Do you provide babysitting for hotels and Airbnbs?
Yes. Sunhouse supports local families and visiting families staying in Vancouver hotels, Airbnbs, and short-term rentals. Hotel and Airbnb bookings use the travel rate listed in our pricing table.
